Consolidated Used Licenses
The Consolidated Used Licenses page provides an aggregate of the license usage data for an administrator from multiple Windchill environments. You can open the Consolidated Used Licenses page from the Go to page list available on the dashboard.
To view the consolidated license usage report from multiple servers, select from the list of Windchill Servers available on the left pane of the page. As you select the servers, the report is updated dynamically.
When you log-in to different systems for the same license feature, for the same day, the license usage count is considered as one. Whereas, when you log-in to different systems for different license features, the license usage count is considered as one each for the licenses being used.
Let’s consider the following examples to see the license usage counts:
• The user1 logs-in to SystemA and SystemB with Contributor license. Here, the license usage is counted as one.
• The user1 logs-in to SystemA with Author license and to SystemB with Contributor license. Here, the license usage is counted as two.
To view a graphical representation of the license usage count over a specified time frame (last 90, 180, 270, or 365 days), click the license name from the table. For the selected licenses, you can also view the maximum and minimum usage count for the week in a separate table that appears beside the graph.
For each license, the table provides the following details:
• LICENSE NAME: Displays the name of the license
• USED LICENSES: Displays the number of used licenses
• LICENSE TYPE: Displays the license type (named or active daily user)
• EXPIRATION STATUS: Displays either of the below alerts to indicate the license expiration status:
◦ Active
◦ Approaching expiry
◦ Expired
• EXPIRY DATE: Displays the date of license expiration. In case of permanent licenses, the same is displayed under the Expiry Date column.
To export the consolidate license usage data into a CSV format, click the Export Data button available on the top-right of the table.
To export a detailed report of the consolidated used licenses , click Export Usage Details. The exported source data provides the following details:
• User ID
• Server GUID
• First Access Date
• Most Recent Access Date
• License Name
