To Set Floor Options
1. Click > . The Creo View Options dialog box opens.
2. Next to Showing, select Active View. Then, on the left, under Model, select Floor. On the right, the Model-Floor options open.
3. To display a floor plane under a model, select Display Floor.
4. Choose a method for setting the floor orientation:
◦ Use up direction
◦ Use Explore navigation setting
5. To fade the edges of the ground plane, select Fade Plane’s Transparency.
6. To project shadows and lighting effects from the model onto the ground plane, select Plane Display Shows Lighting Effects.
7. Customize floor appearance, by setting the following options:
◦ Color
◦ Transparency
◦ Grid Type
◦ Grid Color
◦ Grid Density
8. Apply the settings to the following views:
◦ For all views, select Apply To All Views
◦ For the default view only, select Apply To Defaults
9. Click Apply, to apply the settings and keep the dialog box open, or click OK to apply the settings and close the dialog box.
