To Set Global Options for ECAD Compare

Comparing ECAD Designs > Defining the Comparison > To Set Global Options for ECAD Compare

1. Click File > Options. The Creo View Options dialog box opens.

2. On the left, click CompareECAD. The Compare-ECAD options appear.

3. To show a reminder that the Quick Results view is not a full comparison, select the Show information message after opening a Compare view check box.

4. To show a show a short summary of the results, select the Show information message when compare calculation is completed check box.

5. To display the Review History of a comparison, select the Show Review History for Compare Views check box.

6. In the EDMD version for results report box, select an EDMD version to generate IDX results.

◦ EDMD 1.2—For users working with applications such as Mentor Graphics or Creo Elements/Pro 5.0.

◦ EDMD 2.0—Default setting

◦ EDMD 3.0

7. Click Apply or OK.

For the command line, the arguments below are available for -type:

• EDMD—System default (currently EDMD2). Default if -type is not set.

• EDMD1_2

• EDMD2

• EDMD3
