To Create an MCAD Static Group
You can create a Static group with or without preselecting entities. To include selected items, first select them from these locations:
• Model tab of the primary panel
• Results pane
• Part Name partition of the Groups pane
• Search results list
• Graphics area
1. Right-click the Groups tab, and then select Create Group > Static. The Create Group dialog box opens.

You can also create a group from the Groups ribbon.
2. Type a name for the group and click OK. The group is added to the list.
