About Interference Detection Results Reports
You can generate and export summary reports and full reports:
The summary report includes general information about the progress of the design procedure. It is useful for managers.
The full report provides specific details in addition to the general information, allowing hands-on users to read and analyze results case by case.
Both summary and full reports provide this information about the current calculation:
General Details
Breakdown of Interferences by Type and Tag
Interferences by Top Level Selection—Lists the groupings between which interference cases were found and the number of cases between the two groupings.
Hidden Parts—Determined by the Include parts hidden by default option.
Included—Parts hidden by default are included in the interference calculations.
Not included—Hidden parts are not included in the interference calculations, even if currently visible.
See To Control the Inclusion of Hidden Geometry and Parts in Interference Detection for more details.
Hidden Geometry—Determined by the Consider hidden geometry for calculation as follows option.
All—All the geometry layers are included in the interference calculation.
Current—The currently visible geometry layers are included in the interference calculation.
Default—Only the visible by default geometry layers are included in the interference calculation.
See To Control the Inclusion of Hidden Geometry and Parts in Interference Detection for more details.
Non-solid Geometries—Determined by the Include Non-solid Geometries option.
Included—Geometries that are not solid, such as surfaces, are included in the interference calculations.
Not included—Geometries that are not solid, such as surfaces, are not included in the interference calculations.
The Full Report also includes Interferences by Components. This contains the same information that appears in the Interference Report. When you open an interference report from Windchill, the report also includes Windchill attributes.
Reports do not include resolved interferences. Save or export the reports using one of the following file formats:
