About Carrying Analyses
A carrying analysis is calculated using a standing manikin who must carry a load with both hands. Both hands should be at the same height, otherwise the analysis will use an average height.
A carrying analysis calculates the optimal weight that can be carried by a male or female worker. The analysis is calculated using a static manikin. The result of a carrying analysis is only a recommendation. There is no guarantee that any or all workers can lift the load as required.
No calculation is needed to run this type of analysis. Enter the parameters, run the analysis, and review the recommended weights as they pertain to male and female workers.
