To Place a Drawing Symbol on a Chamfer Dimension Extension Line
1. On the
Annotate tab, click the arrow next to
Symbol, and click
Custom Symbol. The
Custom Symbol dialog box opens.
2. Under Definition, select a drawing symbol that has Normal to Entity as one of its allowed placement types.
3. Under Placement, select the placement type of the drawing symbol as Normal to Entity from the Type list and select a chamfer dimension.
4. Select a location on the chamfer dimension extension line to place the drawing symbol.
5. The Direction menu appears. Click Flip to flip the drawing symbol against the extension line.
The drawing symbol is placed at the selected location normal to the chamfer dimension extension line.
