About Measuring Length
If you select two or more measurable reference entities, the total length for all the entities is reported. The selected entities do not have to be connected, and they do not have to be the same entity type.
You can measure length for the following entity types:
• Linear
◦ Linear edge or sketch segment
◦ Facet edge
◦ Intersection that results in a linear entity
• Curve
◦ Edge
◦ Curve
◦ Facet edge
◦ Sketch segment
◦ Cable or pipe centerline
• Radial or diametral curve
◦ 2D arc, fillet, or circle
◦ Radial or diametral edge, curve, or scanned curve
◦ Cable or pipe centerline
