To Use Parameters for Assigning Mass Properties
1. Click File > Prepare > Model Properties. The Model Properties dialog box opens.
2. Click change against Mass Properties. The Mass Properties dialog box opens.
3. Select Fully Assigned from the list in the Define Properties by area.
4. Select a coordinate system.
5. Define all the parameters.
6. Click Generate Report.
7. The mass properties are calculated, displayed in the INFORMATION WINDOW, and saved in a file objectname.m_p in your current working directory.
a. If required, use the Edit commands in the INFORMATION WINDOW to edit the file.
b. Click File > Save as to save the mass property with a different name.
8. Click Close to close the report and return to the Model Properties dialog box.
9. Click OK.
