To Switch to a Different Measure Tool
If you have already opened a measure tool, switch to a measure tool of another dimension type as follows:
• Right-click the graphics window and select another dimension type.
• Click a measure tool in the Measure dialog box.
The selection of a reference entity is maintained even after you select a different measure tool.
