To Measure the Volume of an Entity
1. On the
Home tab click the arrow next to
Measure.
2. Click
Volume. The
Measure: Volume toolbar appears.
3. Click
on the toolbar to expand the
Measure: Volume dialog box.
4. Under Setup, select a reference entity. The volume of the selected entity is calculated and displayed in the Results area, the measurement panel, or both.
5. To measure the volume of the entity on one side of a plane, click the Plane collector and select a reference plane.
6. To reverse the direction of the plane for the measurement, click
.
7. To adjust the accuracy of the measurement, type a value in the Accuracy box or select a value from the list.
