To Measure a Cone, Sphere, or Torus
1. Click the arrow next to
Home >
Measure.
2. Click
Summary. The
Measure: Summary toolbar appears.
3. Click
on the toolbar to expand the
Measure: Summary dialog box.
4. Select a cone, sphere, or torus. Depending on the geometric shape that you have selected, the following results appear in the measurement panel, the Measure: Summary dialog box, or both:
◦ Area and the cone angle
◦ Area, radius, diameter, and the x-, y-, and z-values of the sphere center
◦ Area, section diameter, minor diameter, mid diameter, and major diameter
