To Locate an Item in the Model Tree
In an open part or assembly, select a datum entity or quilt or a part. Right-click and select Locate in Model Tree from the shortcut menu. The selected entities are highlighted in the Model Tree.
 
• The Model Tree expands to show the entity if the selected entity is not on the top-level node.
• The Model Tree scrolls to show the entities that are outside the visible area.
To automatically locate a datum or quilt or part in the model tree, do the following:
1. Click Select > .
2. Click Options and select Auto Locate in Tree check box (selected by default).
3. Select a datum in the Graphics Window.
4. The Model Tree expands to show the selection.
 
* If Auto Locate in Tree check box is not selected, do the following:
1. Select a datum or quilt or part in the Graphics Window.
2. Right click and select <><><><>Locate in Model Tree.
The Model Tree expands to show the selection.
