To Display Interferences among Components in a Cross Section
1. Open an assembly.
2. Create a cross section using Planar tool on the Home tab.
3. To display the interferences among components or overlapping surfaces in a section, on the Options Toolbar, click .
Alternatively, expand the Options Toolbar to open the Floating Dashboard and click Interference. The color button becomes available.
Alternatively, in the model tree, right-click a cross section and click Show Interference.
4. Click . A color palette is displayed.
5. Specify a color. In the section, the interferences are displayed in the specified color.
 
If you drag the cross section, the interference display is updated appropriately.
To switch-off the interference display, clear the Interference check box on the Floating Dashboard.
