To Create a Line Tangent from an Entity
1. On the
Home tab click the arrow next to
Line.
2. Click
Tangent.
3. Select an arc, circle, or a spline. A line segment follows the pointer, maintaining tangency with the selected entity.
4. Click the graphics window to select an endpoint.
5. Repeat steps 3 and 4 to create additional lines tangent from the selected entity.
6. Middle-click or press ESC to exit the tool.
