To Save a File Backup
1. Click File > Save As > Save a Backup. The Backup dialog box opens.
2. Accept the default folder or browse to a new folder. In the File name box, the file name of the active model appears.
3. To select a different model, type a new name in the Backup To box.
4. Click OK.

• If you save a backup of a simplified representation, a message indicates that all the required files may not be in the memory. Click Yes to continue.
• If you back up an assembly file, all the dependent files are saved to the specified folder.
