Message area
|
Displays short messages in response to your actions.
|

Selection Buffer area
|
Shows the number of selected entities in the current model. This area is active on the status bar when you hold down the CTRL key or when the collector is active.

Selection Filter area
|
Displays the selection filters. You can change the selection filter by selecting another entity from the list. Hold down the ALT key during selection to temporarily disable the filter.
