About Preferences for Boolean Operations
1. Click
File >
Options.
2. Click the Boolean Operations tab in the Creo Direct Options dialog box to set preferences for Boolean Operations.
Select the check box next to a boolean operation option:
◦ Discard modifying components (boolean_discard_modifying)—Deletes the modifying components after a boolean operation.
◦ Copy Datum planes (boolean_copy_datums)—Copies datum planes from the modifying component to the modified model as part of the boolean operation.
◦ Copy Quilts (boolean_copy_quilts)—Copies quilts from the modifying component to the modified model as part of the boolean operation. This option is active by default.
3. Click OK. The Creo Direct Options message box opens.
4. Click Yes. Browse to the location where you want to save the file as a PRO file.
5. Type a name for the file in the type box provided, and click OK.
