By default sections are displayed in the Model Tree. You can control the display of sections in the Model Tree by selecting or clearing the check box next to the Section name in the Model Tree.

The sections of sub models are displayed in the Model Tree. However, you cannot modify these sections. The sections of Top level assembly are displayed even when a sub model is active.

You can activate or deactivate the cross sections of a top level assembly even if the top model is not active. You can show or hide hatching for these cross sections.
