You can remove a configuration when you no longer need it. Only the configuration is deleted. Its parts and assemblies are not affected, but links to annotation views and 3D documentation views are recalculated with the standard view.
To delete a configuration,
1. Click Structure and then, in the Configurations group, click Delete.
2. Expand the assembly that contains the configuration in the Structure Browser.
3. Double-click the configuration you want to delete.
Delete.
