This section shows how to alter the appearance of already existing reference lines. The settings and their options in the Modify Ref Line menu are the same as for the default settings.
To change a reference line attribute,
1. Click Annotation and then, in the Annotate group, click the arrow next to Properties.
2. Click Reference Line . The Modify Ref Line dialog box opens.
3. Click the reference line to change, define a selection box, or use the Select tool.
4. Click a check button on next to a setting to be changed.
5. Enter a new value or select a new option as appropriate.
6. Continue changing settings or click to complete the operation.
Creo Elements/Direct Annotation alters the specified reference lines.
There are also two options to specify predefined settings:
Grab
You can grab the settings of an existing reference line for use as the selections in the Modify Ref Line menu. Click Grab and then specify the reference line whose style you want to apply. The fields in the menu are updated to show the selected line's settings.
Default
The default settings for reference lines (as specified in the Ref Line Settings menu) can also be applied when modifying reference lines. Click Default to adopt these settings in the menu.
