Create a drawing
You can produce 2D drawings of your 3D model, and update those drawings to reflect subsequent modifications to your 3D model. You can
• Create a drawing with new views.
• Create a new drawing by transferring docuplanes from 3D Documentation.
• Create a drawing without a 3D model.
• Create a drawing from a drawing template.
Because you can load only one drawing at a time, be sure to save your existing drawing before creating a new one.
When you start Creo Elements/Direct Annotation, only the New Drawing button and the buttons in the View group are active; once you create or load a drawing, all the buttons are active. Initially, the drawing consists of one sheet on which you place views.
