Pipe Flow Example

This is a typical engineering problem Pro/ENGINEER 2000i user can solve every day with Behavioral Modeler. The designer has to design a pipe that changes from one shape to and keep a desired airflow through the change in profile. The desired airflow is easily input as a Behavioral Feature, show as the white line on the graph. The adaptive regeneration in Pro/ENGINEER 2000i simply changes the pipe geometry to match the engineering requirement, as shown by the yellow line. Before Behavioral Modeler this was a labor intensive repetitive job for designer to solve - now the system does the grunt work, the designer can sit back, have a coffee and solve the next problem.
