Windchill Risk and Reliability 12.0.1.0
This section lists new features and enhancements for Windchill Risk and Reliability 12.0.1.0. In addition to providing brief descriptions, it indicates where you can find more comprehensive coverage where applicable. To download Windchill Risk and Reliability 12.0.1.0 guides, go to the Reference Documents website, which is a library of all PTC documents. A Service Contract Number (SCN) is required to access the PTC documentation from the Reference Documents website. Description
Improved security features
Windchill Risk and Reliability 12.0.1.0 onwards, relevant DLLS and executables are digitally signed and verified.
You can now send emails securely using TLS encryption. A checkbox that enables you to select ‘Send email over TLS’ is introduced. For more information see the Reference Guide settings page and Administrator Guide settings page.
Includes support for SSO tools.
Windchill Risk and Reliability 12.0.1.0 includes support for these versions of SSO tools; Shibboleth version - 3.3.0 and Ping Fed version - 11.0.3.
ODATA improvements in Maintainability module
GET/read capabilities are now available in Maintainability module along with CRUD operations support.
General Functionalities
Two new fields Date (Ignore Local Time Zone) and Date/Time (Ignore Local Time Zone) are available in the Precision drop-down which allow you to define local warranty date and time that do not change across time zones.
