Specifying a Repeated Block from its Calculation Properties
You can use the
Links page in a block’s
Calculation Properties window to indicate that the block is a repeat of another block in the diagram. For more information, see
Links Page.
1. In the diagram, double-click the block to open its Calculation Properties window.
2. On the
Links page, under
Repeated blocks, click
Set Repeat. The
Set Repeated Block window opens. For more information, see
Set Repeated Block Window.
3. Complete this window and click OK.
Under Repeated blocks on the Links page, the status changes from This block is not repeated to This block is a repeat of X, where X is the identifier of the block which it repeats.
4. Click OK.
In the diagram, the block’s text box is updated. The Repeat of designation indicates the identifier of the block that it repeats.
Once RBD calculations run, you can view results for the repeated block on the
Results page in its
Calculation Properties window or in the
Calculation Properties window for the block it repeats. For more information, see
Calculations - Results Page.
The interactions that are possible are described in
Interactions of Links and Repeat Blocks. To remove a
Repeat of designation, see
Removing a ‘Repeat of’ Designation.
