Select Diagram Link Window
The Select Diagram Link window provides for linking a block to an entirely different block diagram. The unique identifier for the active block is shown in the title bar of this window. In the Diagram list, the unique identifiers for all block diagrams in the RBD Table are shown. The following table describes the options in this window.

Diagram
Lists all block diagrams in the RBD Table.
Description
For the diagram selected in the Diagram list, the description assigned to this diagram in the RBD Table.
When clicked, the link is set to the diagram selected in the Diagram list and the Select Diagram Link window closes. This button is unavailable until you select a diagram.
When clicked, the Select Diagram Link window closes without a diagram link being set.
When clicked, the New Block Diagram window opens so that a new diagram can be inserted and then set as the diagram to which to link. For more information, see New/Copy Block Diagram Window.
When clicked, the Copy Block Diagram window opens so that the diagram selected in the Diagram list can be copied to a new diagram that you can then select as the diagram to which to link. For more information, see New/Copy Block Diagram Window.
When clicked, the Windchill Risk and Reliability Help starts and displays information about this window.
Tasks
Using the Set Diagram Link window, you can set a link to an existing diagram or to a new diagram that you have inserted from this window. The following table describes how to perform each of these tasks.

Set link to an existing diagram
1. Select the diagram.
2. Click Select to set the diagram link.
Insert new diagram and set a link to it
1. Click New. The New Block Diagram window opens. For more information, see New/Copy Block Diagram Window.
2. Complete this window and click OK. The newly inserted diagram is listed in the Select Diagram Link window.
3. Select this diagram and then click Select to set the diagram link.
4. In the RBD Diagram pane in the System file, construct the diagram by inserting blocks, connectors, junctions, and labels.
Copy an existing diagram and set a link to it
1. Select the diagram to copy.
2. Click Copy. The Copy Block Diagram window opens. For more information, see New/Copy Block Diagram Window.
3. Complete this window and click OK. A window opens, indicating that a paste is in progress. The new inserted diagram is listed in the Select Diagram Link window.
4. Select this diagram and then click Select to set the diagram link.
5. In the RBD Diagram pane in the System file, make any necessary modifications needed to the copied diagram.
