Inserting a Default Block
In a diagram, you can insert a block of the default style using the Insert Default Block command on the shortcut menu or the Default Block command on the Insert menu. Under RBD in the System file properties, default styles are specified for the objects you insert in block diagrams. For more information, see RBD System File Properties.
1. Click in an empty area of the diagram to ensure that no objects are selected. This step is necessary only if you are using the Insert Default Block command on the shortcut menu.
2. Do one of the following to insert a block of the default style:
Right-click and select Insert Default Block.
Select Insert > Default Block.
On the Insert Diagram Objects toolbar, click Insert Default Block.
Press Ctrl+Alt+F.
The default block is attached to the mouse cursor.
3. In the area where you want to place the block, right-click to insert it.
Under Diagrams in the Options window, Create one object at a time controls insertion behavior. For more information, see Diagrams User Options.
