Calculating RBD Results
Calculating results for an RBD diagram consists of making the appropriate selections and then starting the process.
1. To open the Calculate window, do one of the following:
◦ On the standard toolbar, click Calculate.
◦ Press F8.
◦ Select > .
2. On the Calculation Selection page, select RBD. If this checkbox is cleared, RBD calculations do not run.
3. Complete the RBD pages. For more information, see RBD Calculation Properties.
4. After entering any additional data for other calculations to perform, click OK to run the requested calculations.
The Calculation Progress window opens, displaying progress as the calculations run. When they finish, the View Calculation Results window opens.
RBD calculation results appear on pages under RBD Results. For more information, see RBD System Level Calculation Results.
5. When finished viewing results, click Close.
You can view these same calculation results again at any time. To do so, select > .
When a block is linked to a child diagram, the calculation results for the linked diagram are stored as the calculation results for the block. For information about viewing optimization results and block calculation results, see:

If you click Stop in the Calculation Progress window when calculations are running, the simulation is stopped at the current iteration and the results obtained until then are written out. This means that partial results may be written out for some iterations, and some time point results may be based on a larger number of iterations than others.
