Allocation Pane (Part)
For a part, an Allocation pane is shown only if both of the following conditions are met.
• For
Allocation method, which appears under
Prediction in the
System file properties,
Base, Non-normalized or
Base, Normalized is selected. For more information, see
Prediction System File Properties.
• For
Failure rate type in the part’s
General Data pane,
Allocated is selected. For more information, see
General Data Pane (Part).
When both of these conditions are met, when the part is selected, the Allocation pane is shown. In its single field,
Allocation Weight Factor, you enter the appropriate value for the part. For more information, see
