Pass-Through Gate
The pass-through gate is used for visually aligning the events and gates in a fault tree. A pass-through gate extends a vertical connector down through an additional tree level. It has no calculation data associated with it and therefore has no effect on calculations. A tree branch can continue after a pass-through gate. There can be only one input to a pass-through gate.

Example
The following fault tree is the same as the example for the remarks gate, with a pass-through gate added simply for configuration purposes. This pass-through gate extends the vertical connector for the No Fuel event to move it down in parallel with the Mech Problem event.
