Reliability
The equation for calculating reliability is:

λ | = | Failure rate in failures per hour or the inverse of MTBF. |
t | = | Total mission time in hours. |
When calculating reliability based on FRACAS data, constant failure rates are assumed for all items. On the > page in the Calculate window, you enter the mission time that you want to use to calculate FRACAS reliability results. The default is 0 hours.
