As described in FMEA Standards, each FMEA standard requires its own unique set of FMEA data. To make building FMEAs easier, several FMEA templates are supplied in the Samples folder on the Windchill Risk and Reliability application server. Creating a Project from a template ensures that all of the necessary fields, tables, and forms for a FMEA standard are created and enabled in the Project.

You create a Project from a template using the New Project Wizard. For more information, see Creating a Project Using the New Project Wizard. If desired, you can copy individual files from a specific FMEA template into an existing Project. For more information, see Copying Files from Another Project into the Project Open in the Project Properties Window.

The following table describes the FMEA templates supplied in the Samples folder. The System files in these Projects do not contain data. For more information, see Sample Projects and Templates.
