Specify Filter Criterion Window
The Specify Filter Criterion window provides for supplying a filter criterion. The following table describes the options in this window. For more information, see Adding an Alert Criterion.
Option
Description
Conjunction
For an alert with multiple criteria, the link from the previous criterion to the next criterion. This field is available only after the first criterion is added.
Table type
The table containing the data field for which to specify the criterion.
Data field
The field for which to specify the criterion.
Condition
The condition or logical operator to use in the criterion. The conditions available depend on the type of field selected. For more information, see Valid Conditions for Each Field Type.
Value
The one or more values that the condition is to use. The appropriate control for selecting values is shown. Examples follow.
For a data field, a calendar control is shown.
For a text field attached to a list, a browse button is shown. Clicking it opens a window in which you select the values to include in the filter criterion. For more information, see Selection Window for List Values.
