Sort Order Window

The Sort Order window provides for inserting a new or modifying an existing sort order criterion for the filter selected in the Filter Definition pane. This window opens when you click Add or Edit in the Order By pane. For more information, see:

The following table provides descriptions of the options in the Sort Order window.

Option	Description
Table type	The table containing the data field by which to order records that meet selection criteria.
Data field	The field by which to order the records that meet selection criteria.
Sort order	Indicates whether the sort order is ascending (A to Z or 0 to 9) or descending (Z to A or 9 to 0).
