Modifying a Graph in the Graph Designer
In the Graph Designer, you can modify a graph using the Graph Properties window.
1. To open the Graph Properties window, do one of the following:
Select View > Properties.
Right-click in the graph area and select Properties.
2. Use the many property pages provided in this window to modify the graph. For more information, see Graph Properties.
3. When finished, click OK to close this window.
4. To save the property changes made to this graph, select File > Save or File > Save As.
Selecting Save overwrites the saved properties in the existing Graph Template file with the graph’s current properties.
Selecting Save As causes the Save File As window to open so that you can save the graph’s current properties to a new Graph Template file.
5. When finished, close the Graph Designer by clicking the X in the upper right corner of the window.
If unsaved changes to the graph exist, a window opens for indicating whether you want to save these changes. Clicking Yes saves them, and clicking No discards them. Clicking Cancel keeps the modified graph open in the Graph Designer.
If a Graph Template file already exists for this graph, clicking Yes overwrites this file. If a Graph Template does not exist for this file, the Save File As window opens so that you can create one. For more information, see Saving Information About the Graph in the Graph Designer to a New Graph Template File.
