Legend Properties
When Legend is the page selected in the Graph Properties window, you can set properties for the legend, which defines the data series in the graph. The following table describes the properties that appear on the Legend page.

Visible
Indicates whether to show the legend. When this checkbox is cleared (default), the legend is shown. When it is selected, the legend is hidden.
Position
The placement of the legend. Choices include Top, Bottom, Left, and Right. The default is Right.
Font
The font family and point size for the legend. When you click the browse button for this property, a window opens for specifying font properties. For more information, see Font Selection Window.
Orientation
Indicates how to orient the legend in relation to the graph. Choices are Horizontal and Vertical. The default is Vertical.
Rows
The maximum number of rows in which to display data point labels in a legend that is horizontally oriented. This property is available only when Horizontal is selected for Orientation. The default is 1.
Columns
The maximum number of columns in which to display data point labels in a legend that is vertically oriented. This property is available only when Vertical is selected for Orientation. The default is 1.
