System Tree Items
This area provides options for importing data into the System Tree Items table.

Parts only
|
When selected, only the part records in the source file are imported. Selecting this option is like selecting Prediction Parts as the table type. If Part Library searching is turned on, data for a part number match is retrieve when part records are imported.

Assemblies only
|
When selected, only assembly records in the source file are imported. Selecting this option is like selecting Prediction Assemblies as the table type.
|
System Tree Items only
|
When selected, records are imported into the System Tree Items table type. Selecting this option is like selecting System Tree Items as the table type. It provides for importing the System Tree structure with no specific part data.

System Tree Items and Parts
|
When selected, records are imported into the System Tree Items table and Parts Table. This option provides for importing the System Tree structure and specific part data in a single import. This requires two field mapping passes. In the first pass, the Assign System Tree Fields appears. On this page, you map System Tree structure data, such as Name, Part?, Level, and Description. In the second pass, the Assign Prediction Parts Fields page appears. On this page, you map specific part data, such as Part Number, Part? Reference Designator, Quantity, and Description. The source file must have a field to map to Part? in which assemblies are indicated by 0 values and parts by 1 values. If Part Library searching is turned on, data for a matching part number is retrieved when importing the part records. For more information, see Part Number Searches.

Configurations
This area provides options for importing configuration data. It is present only when the Configurations table is shown in the System file. For more information, see Configurations Table.

When selected, records are imported into the Configurations table. Selecting this option is like selecting Configurations as the table type.

I want to add records
|
When selected (default), the records in the source file are added to the table as new records. If the identifier fields for parent tables are not included in the source file or if they are missing for some of the records, you are prompted to select the identifiers that are necessary during the import.

I want to update records
|
When selected, the records in the source file are to update existing records in the table. The unique identifier field for the table into which the records are imported must be included in the source file so that matching records can be identified. Allow new records to be added during update becomes available so that you can indicate whether you want to adds new records when no matches to existing records are found.
