Embedded Tables on Forms
Forms for parent tables support embedded child tables. The following table lists parent tables and the child tables that can be embedded on their forms. The final column indicates if the table is turned on or off in the System file that is created along with a new Project. To make changes to which tables are turned on and off, and to assign custom names to tables, you use the Table Settings pane in the Project Properties window. For more information, see Table Settings (Project).

These subtables are available only in the Enterprise Edition.
When a Form Design file for one of the above parent tables is open in the Form Designer, you can use the table control to insert and position a table on the form to embed it. For more information, see Inserting and Positioning a Control. The Form Designer limits the table types available for selection to those for the modules currently in use. For more information, see Form Design Files.
When a filter is applied to a table, it is also applied to embedded tables of this same table type. For example, if a filter is applied to the FMEA Worksheet table, it is also applied to all forms with an embedded FMEA Worksheet table.
*
The only exception to the above statement is when the table embedded on a Problems form is from a specific module. For instance, if the FRACAS Incidents table is embedded on a Problems form, it does not use the same filter applied to the main view of the FRACAS Incidents table. It uses the current record set, meaning shows the incidents associated with the active problem.
If the Table Format file for an embedded table is modified, you are asked whether you want to reload the table. If you click Yes, the changes made to this file are applied to the main view of the table as well as to where this table is embedded on forms. For more information, see Table Format Files.
If an embedded table is later turned off, then it is unavailable. On the form, a message indicates that the table is turned off.
