Cutting or Copying a Table Row
You can cut or copy one or more rows in a table by using any of the techniques in the following table. For information about row selection, see Selecting a Row or Selecting Multiple Rows.
Method
Steps
Drag and Drop to Copy
1. Select the rows to copy.
2. Click this selection and hold down the left mouse button while dragging it over the row where you want to place it.
3. Press and hold down Ctrl.
4. Release the mouse button.
5. Release Ctrl.
Cut and Paste
1. Select the rows to cut.
2. Right-click your selection and select Cut Record.
3. Right-click the row where you want to paste your selection and select Paste Record.
Copy and Paste
1. Select the rows to copy.
2. Right-click your selection and select Copy Row.
3. Right-click the row where you want to paste your selection and select Paste Record.
During a lengthy paste operation, a window opens. To cancel this operation, you can click Stop. For more information, see Stopping the Paste Process.

The Edit menu also provides commands for cutting, copying, and pasting records. Cutting and copying records places them in the Windows Clipboard. You can paste these records from the Clipboard into a spreadsheet program like Microsoft Excel.
