Audit Trails (Enterprise Edition Only)
In the Enterprise Edition, you can license the Audit Trail application. The Audit Trail application provides full audit support for modifications made to primary tables in the System file.
To use the Audit Trail application, an administrator must selectGeneral > Enable Audit Trail in the Project properties. For more information, see General Project Properties.
Because the audit trail data stored in an Audit Trail file is for a specified time period, you can easily remove old Audit Trail files to a backup location, such as an offsite machine or some removable medium, for archiving.
When the Audit Trail application is enabled, you can show changed data values in red on reports. For more information, see Red-Line Options.
