Add List Item Window
The Add List Item window provides for viewing and modifying the information for the item to insert in a List Library file. The following table describes the options in this window. For more information, see Inserting a List Item During Data Entry.
Option
Description
Code
The unique code assigned to the list item. For more information, see Codes.
Display text
The text to display in the choice list.
Value
The value to use for this item in calculations. If you assign a numeric value to the item, this value can be used in calculations. For example, if Catastrophic, Critical, Marginal, and Minor are the items in the list, you might assign the following values to these list item:
• Catastrophic = 10
• Critical = 7
• Marginal = 4
• Minor = 1
In the Edit List Item window, select Free Text to add the entry in the required field without updating the List Item table.
