Installation Overview
This installation guide is for the Team Edition. You use the Windchill Risk and Reliability 12.0.0.0 Team Setup program to install this application.

Licensing for Windchill Risk and Reliability uses FlexLM. Be sure to read License Management to determine what you must do to license this PTC product.

Once the Setup program runs successfully, you will have an operational Windchill Risk and Reliability system. If you install the network setup, to run Windchill Risk and Reliability from client computers, you run the Client Setup program on these computers to install the necessary components.
To operate properly, the computers on which you install Windchill Risk and Reliability components must meet the minimum requirements given in the following topics:
For any software package, increasing memory, processor speed, and hard drive space always improves performance. Consequently, both minimum and recommended minimum requirements are provided. When you start a Setup program on a computer, the Windows Installer checks the operating system and service pack level. If requirements are not met, an error message is shown and the process ends.
