Summary Calculator Overview
The Summary Calculator provides for running additional calculations on data sets that are analyzed based on parametric distributions. For the Weibull module, this includes data sets inserted under the top-level Life Data folder or Reliability Growth folder and also warranty data sets. For the ALT module, this includes data sets inserted under the top-level Life Data folder.
When one of the above data sets is selected in the LDA Navigator, to open the Summary Calculator, you do one of the following:
• Select > .
• In the title bar of a Parameters pane, click the third button, which opens the Summary Calculator. The tooltip for this button is Click for Additional Data Set calculations.
The options shown in the Summary Calculator depend on the type of data set selected in the LDA Navigator. For the Weibull module, the options are the same for all but reliability growth data sets. For the ALT module, the options are the same for all ALT data sets but differ from those for Weibull data sets. For more information, see:
