Result Plot
In the navigation pane of the Test Planning Calculator, you click Parametric Binomial to expand the entries under this heading. To later collapse this heading, you click the minus sign (-) that then appears to its left. When the Parametric heading is expanded, clicking Result Plot displays a plot of results calculated for either test time or test units. For more information, see Using the Parametric Binomial Distribution to Compute Test Time or Units.
As described in Parametric Binomial Distribution Options, the data that is specified under Plot and table options prior to clicking Calculate is used to generate the plot.
When Test time is selected for Solve for, the plot shows the testing time versus the number of units tested.
When Test units is selected for Solve for, the plot shows the number of units tested versus the testing time.
The list at the bottom of this plot indicates the different lines that can be shown. These lines are labeled as 0 Failures, 1 Failures, 2 Failures, and so on. Each you select and clear lines, the plot is updated. You can click Select All or Clear All to select or clear all lines and then customize your selections from there.
