Non-Parametric Life Data Analysis (LDA)
following table describes the Weibull panes in which you enter data and view calculation results for non-parametric analysis of a life data set. Because this method does not assume an underlying distribution, when little is known about the population, you may want to use it first. You can then save the non-parametric results for a free-form data set to a parametric data set for distribution-based analysis. For more information, see Resulting Data Sets.
Pane
Description
Weibull Parameters
Displays basic parameters required for non-parametric LDA. For more information, see Weibull Parameters Pane for a Non-Parametric Life Data Set.
Weibull Data Points
Displays the data to analyze. The options available depend on the data type. For more information, see Weibull Data Points Pane for a Non-Parametric Life Data Set.
Weibull Results
Displays the calculation results for non-parametric LDA once the data set has been calculated. For more information, see Weibull Results Pane for a Non-Parametric Life Data Set.
