Verify RBD Data Window
The Verify RBD Data window provides for verifying the construction and setup of your block diagrams. This window opens when you perform the procedure described in Verifying RBD Data. The following table describes the options in the Verify RBD Data window.
Option
Description
Verify
The checkboxes below this heading indicate the block properties to verify. By default, all checkboxes are selected.
Connections
When selected, a check is performed to see that all blocks and junctions have inputs and outputs, thereby incorporating them into the system analysis.
Component identifiers
When selected, a check is performed to see that all component identifiers assigned to blocks and junctions are unique.
Failure distribution
When selected, a check is performed to see that the value provided for the selected failure distribution is appropriate.
Load sharing
When selected, checks are performed for load-sharing junctions to ensure that the following conditions are met:
Neither a junction nor a repeated block can be an input to a load-sharing junction.
A block that is an input to a load-sharing junction can have only one input and one output.
Each input into a load-sharing junction must have the same junction as its input.
Restoration distribution
When selected, a check is performed to see that the value provided for the selected restoration distribution is appropriate.
Dependencies
When selected, checks are performed to see that the trigger source and maintenance to perform exist.
Diagram
The options below this heading indicate which diagrams to include in the verification process.
Verify current diagram
When selected (default), verifications are performed on only the currently selected diagram in the RBD Table.
Verify current diagram and all linked diagrams
When selected, verifications are performed on the currently selected diagram in the RBD Table and on any diagrams to which this diagram is linked.
Verify all diagrams
When selected, verifications are performed on all diagrams in the RBD Table.
