Simulation Animation Options Window
The Simulation Animations Options window provides for setting the simulation playback speed and the colors in which to highlight blocks in the diagram. To open the Simulation Animations Options window, you click the Options button in the RBD Simulation Log window.
Options Button
The following table describes the options in the Simulation Animations Options window. The values that you enter in this window are saved as the defaults for the RBD Simulation Log.
Option
Description
Playback Speed
Controls how fast the simulation runs during playback. The units are simulation hours per second. The default is 100. For example, if the system was simulated using the time range of 0 to 1000 hours, at a playback speed of 100 simulation hours per second, it takes 10 seconds to play the entire simulation. All events that happened between 0 and 100 hours in the simulator take place in the first second of playback. The value you enter in this field must be greater than 0.
Highlight Colors
The options under this heading specify the color in which to highlight components when the animation is playing.
Operating
The color to use for components that are online or in standby. The default is green.
In Standby
The color to use for components that are in standby or undergoing any type of maintenance. The default is yellow.
Failed
The color to use for components that are failed and not yet undergoing maintenance. The default is red.
