RBD Dependency Groups window
The RBD Dependency Groups window provides for managing the dependency groups for the diagram. In this window, you can insert groups, delete groups, and highlight blocks in a group. You can also expand the hierarchical tree structure for a group to view all blocks in the diagram that have been assigned to a group. The following table describes the options in this window.
Option
Description
Identifier
The unique identifier assigned to the dependency group. While a default identifier is assigned, you can change it to any unique value that you want.
Description
A description of the group.
Dependency groups are diagram-specific. This means that the RBD Dependency Groups window shows all groups created for the block diagram currently selected in the RBD Table. The groups created for this diagram are not available for selection in any other diagram in the RBD Table.
You can insert any number of groups in the RBD Dependency Groups window. Clicking < Click here to insert a new record > in the last table row inserts a group. When you right-click a record, the shortcut menu displays commands for inserting groups, deleting records, and highlighting blocks in a group.
Additionally, you can delete a group by deleting its table record. In this case, blocks assigned to the deleted group are no longer assigned to any group. For more information, see Using Dependency Groups.
