Inserting a Task in an RBD Maintenance Library File
You can insert any number of maintenance tasks in the RBD Maintenance Library file. The tasks that you insert in this file are referred to as library tasks.
1. If the RBD Maintenance Library file is not already created or opened, then create or open it.
2. In the last row in the Maintenance window, click < Click here to insert a new record >. The New Maintenance Task window opens.
3. For Library identifier, enter a unique string, such as a short description of the task itself, and click OK.
4. In the Maintenance Details window, click Edit Task. The Maintenance Properties window opens. For more information, see Maintenance Properties.
5. Complete the Maintenance Properties window and click OK.
Once a task is inserted in the RBD Maintenance Library file, it can be inserted on the Maintenance page for a System file block by using the standard Windows drag-and-drop procedure described in Inserting a Library Task into a Block’s Calculation Properties.
Additionally, from the Maintenance Properties window for a task that is assigned to a System file block, you can retrieve the data for a library task by entering its library identifier. For more information, see Updating a Task for a System File Block with Data for a Library Task.
