Inserting Styles in an RBD Style Library File
You can insert a style in an RBD Style Library file for blocks, connectors, junctions, and labels. The styles in enabled RBD Style Library files supplement or override the styles in the read-only master RBD Style Library file.
1. Open or create the RBD Style Library file.
2. For each custom style to insert, do the following:
a. In the RBD Styles pane, for Style type, select the type of object for which to insert styles. All existing styles for this object are shown in the table.
b. In the last table row, click < Click here to insert a new record >.
The style is inserted in the table. The default name assigned to it is the object type selected for Style type.
For example, if Block styles is selected, the default name is Block Style. If a style with this name already exists, the default name is Block Style (X), where (X) is the next available numeric value.
c. Complete the options in the table. For more information, see RBD Styles Pane.
d. In the RBD Style Definition pane, click Edit Style. The Properties window opens for the selected style.
The visual properties for the style are basically the same as those for the object itself. For more information, see Visual Properties for RBD Diagram Objects.
e. In the Properties window, use the pages provided to define the new style and, when finished, click OK. The Preview area in the RBD Style Definition pane is updated.
3. When finished inserting styles, click the X to close the file.
